Amway Statistics

http://www.cocs.com/jhoagland/amstats.html
I found the above link to a page of statistics where the poster converts the raw percentages and turns it into a real, hard number.  I have looked through the page’s contents and they seem to be based on real calculations.  I like that, another numbers guy.

Technical Analysis in the news

A Technical Analyst was interviewed on BNN.ca last week:

He’s not one of the market technicians that are better known to me, but I like his style and he is rather clear–i like people who tend to use plain English.

Amway Global is a $7Billion annual company. Is the glass half-full or half-empty?

I originally posted this as a reply-comment on Nov12/08.  As below:
Let’s try not to lose sight of the big-picture bottom-line.
I have repeatedly stated that Amway has placed themselves into the retail space, and are selling a retail product line. No one has to twist my arm when I want to go buy a foot-long sub, […]

Will the real numbers for Amway Global please stand up?

This is a response to IBOFB’s latest comment in which he states all the good things that Amway has done these past **two** years to help grow the business.  Or is that, to try to stop the blood from flowing?
To which I respond, yet again, “please, just this once, look at the numbers.”  It really […]

The political pendulum swings yet again: NPA vs. Vision Vancouver.

The question is always, cause and effect.  Does the dog wag the tail?  Or is it the tail that is wagging the dog?  And, does it really matter?

The current financial storm involving the ongoing deleveraging of the worldwide credit system, is serving as a catalyst for change, for better and for worse.  This happens every […]

Quantum of Solace, James Bond 007.

I just watched Quantum of Solace last night at the theatres.  (QOS is the latest installment of the James Bond Franchise.)  Yes, I actually paid money to go see it, a slightly quaint concept given that only 30 hours of its North American release, three pirated free versions were available on-line on just one site for […]
